Dioxin again...!

German only, haven't been able to find an English report yet...
ZDF Heute Magazin

Farms in Germany, Belgium and Netherlands have been closed because Dioxin was found in animal food delivered to them coming from a factory in Belgium. The poison got into the food through filters used for producing gelatine. Food animal factories receive lard from said gelatine factory to blend it into their product.

"There's no immediate danger for public health"...says a Belgian politician...

...does public health include animals I wonder???

Yeah, and if it's not harmless, how come Japan is halting it's imports? I guess they're just being difficult, right?

Japan halts imports of Dutch pork
Japan follows South Korea and imposes a ban on pork from the Netherlands due to fears about dioxin contamination.
